The Money Man Wins

Ellison, steering BMW Oracle Racing, came up against one of his own America’s
Cup sailing team today. Newcomer to the class, Hamish Pepper, who was
helming Banco Espirito Santo lost out on the start, when the boss’
boat benefited from a 20 degrees wind shift. Ellison kept control until
Pepper spotted stronger winds on the right of the course and closed up,
but, the boss got good advice from Russell Coutts and managed to control
