Born Again

Laser 28s, (from the builder of the famous dinghies), have come and gone
in the 1990’s. But recently a new fleet brought the boat out of
the barn in Quebec on Lake Memphremagog for the Canadian Championship
(Sept. 20-21, 19 boats showed up). Tactician Geneviève Gaudreau
springs the spi up on Rampant while rounding the offset mark with Fantôme
on its hip. Rampant finished fourth overall, behind Colibri, Convictus
and Nirvana, and might have done a bit better had they let their main
out about 10 feet in this picture. Results posted on cvrm.ca.
