were anything other than savage in St Tropez, with a morning post postponement
due to a lack of wind. The Alinghi crewed numbers, which had a win yesterday,
looked to be heading for a same again, when racing did get underway. They
looked good just before the finish, but whether they hung on to win is
still unclear; they may have been caught in the final moments as the wind
failed in their area. No results in the Classic event either; not because
of failing wind, but some scoring system we haven’t yet completely
fathomed, which counts consistency as well as race results! A great show
though and more great pix from Carlo Borlenghi are here.
