Round Up
Med Cup
Light
winds meant a delayed start for the second day of the Portugal Trophy
and the question, in te morning, was whether the cloud cover would roll
back and give a bit of thermal help to the breeze. It didn’t and
if it hadn’t been the final round, the organisers might have considered
calling it a day, after one race in light and shifty conditions.
One of the areas that Quantum Racing has been strong is tailoring and
optimising their sails for each regatta and their sail makers have been
hard at it in Portimao, but to no avail today. Sixth and tenth was the
best they could manage today, which dropped them from first in this
regatta to third.
