After a bizarre first day, the 2008
J/22 Worlds saw a better day 2, with three good races in 10-15 knots
of breeze. Since the organizers are doing a typically crap job at getting
information up on their site, we’ll be doing the legwork of tracking
down reports from a bunch of competitors over the weekend in what is
probably one of the most accessible raceboats in the world, and one
that gave many of us our start in real one-design racing.
Today’s report is from Erik Shampain from Ullman
Sails, sailing with Bill Hardesty, Steve Hunt, and Sarah Calahan.
