I Don’t want to detract any of the merits of those Berrimilla guys – they are just awesome – but the note about them "becoming the first boat in history to navigate via Cape Horn and the Northwest Passage" is not correct.
As a bit of a sad irony, the man who should be credited to be the first died a couple of weeks ago. He was Belgian (which automatically makes him an anarchist…). His name was Willy De Roos and the name of his yacht was Williwaw. It’s a pity that his blog is only in Dutch and French – he was one of those originals (like the Berrimilla crew) that one only can admire and respect. Here are some links for more about Willy:
