Are Taking Over
Our long time pal Bora Gulari has been in Weymouth for almost a week waiting for his Bladerider Moth to land in the UK for the International Moth World Championship, which starts Saturday. While we were unfortunately not able to get over there for an on-the-water report, Bora and George “Bear” Peet will be keeping SA posted on the competition and conditions from the most interesting dinghy event of the year, as well as the strange new tricks and gear that the fleet comes up with. Foilers will make up over 95% of the field, and the top sailors have been training their asses off, as well as tweaking and tuning the way you do in such a pure development class.
We salute Bora’s hard work and near-insane dedication to becoming the fastest moth in the world, as well as the dozens of other mothies that waste thousands of man-hours screwing around in our little playground. We’ll be posting the pics we get from Weymouth in the Worlds thread here.
