Race Time
Alinghi is hitting the water in anger this Friday for the first time since a series of disappointing Farr 40 regattas in Florida this winter. This weekend they’re in the same Extreme 40s that they’ve been training so hard in for the last couple of months, but look for our buds Robert and Peter Greenhalgh on Origin to pick up where they left off last year as the class of the iShares Cup, with Alinghi somewhere behind. There is some mad talent in this class, and daily reports will be posted on SA Sailing News, so check it out. We’ll give Rob a shout and see if he’ll make the time to give us something a little more personal than the usual press release.
Speaking of Origin, when we saw this neat website we became fans of the team. All you idiots who stand by US Sailing’s version of promoting sailing in the United States – how about asking them why they can’t get something like that together?
