No Hull?

No Hull?

This
one certainly takes it all to a new level – It is brand new foiler from
Thomas Jundt called Mirabaud
LX
. As we understand it, the center hull is to be removed! No hull.
In racing mode, when there is up and down wind, possibly light and strong
winds, the boat will have a tiny hull, guaranteeing the strict minimal
buoyancy in order not to sink. If the boat goes for a record, with a tender
sailing alongside, stable wind guaranteed etc., it can just get rid of
the buoyancy by unlashing straps. Another view hereand Take a look at it sailing in what looks like almost no wind.
