SINGAPORE:
Raffles Marina… end of B Dock. Permanent Raffles Marina residents, Mark
and Pauline Blasky, had a furry visitor over the last weekend. This nimble
little fellow arrived on a very large motor yacht from Malaysia as a stowaway
(speculation) and made his way across the basin to "Sari Timur’s"
masthead.
Mark
was torn between leaving him alone and risking the array of well-organized
gear on his masthead and he opted for a wrist rocket to "discourage"
the distressed little bastard from spending too long.
Well,
as it happens, wrist rocket, bananas at mast base and even a very nasty
midnight Sumatra (violent squall) didn’t discourage him and he left on
his own at sunrise the following day, after spending the entire night
perched aloft.
