CORRAL – NEXT WEEK
In
response to requests from both Alinghi and BMW/Oracle, NY Supreme Court
Justice Cahn has set a hearing for this coming Wednesday, April 2nd at
9:30 A.M to listen to final arguments regarding the dates for the upcoming
33rd America’s Cup match. Since the arguments are all old ones, we expect
Cahn to quickly issue an order requiring SNG to defend the Cup on a specific
date, most likely the 1st, 3rd, and 5th of October, 2008. Given the slothful
speed of the court thus far, we’re not holding our breath.
