Transat 6.50 Starts Tuesday

At
tonight’s skippers briefing the decision was made to give a green light
to start the Transat
6.50 tomorrow, Tuesday September 18th at 12.30 p.m.

The
start was postopned from Sunday due to a high pressure system in Key
Biscay, which would approach the minis on Tuesday (had they started
on Sunday) with winds as strong as 40 knots and more in gusts. During
this waiting period the weather has stabilized and the 89 minis will
be leaving La Rochelle tomorrow.
