The Maori creation myth is one of the world’s most descriptive, and anyone who likes to be around top-level yacht racing might want to get intimate with it before the next Cup cycle begins. Now you can, with this incredible animation from our pals at Virtual Eye. The 5-minute video tells the Maori story of the birth of New Zealand, and the folks at VE and Animation Research clearly spent a lot of time on what they’re calling a ‘gift’ to a San Francisco in the grips of a great America’s Cup battle.
