20 years after he broke the Round Gotland record, Ludde Ingevall did it again, this times in the frankenmaxi CQS.  Ingevall’s time of 20:51:35 put him in a day before anyone else in the 241-boat fleet – a fleet that includes carbon racers, multihulls, family cruisers, and wooden schooners who’ve competed in every Round Gotland since the races inception in the early 1900s.

With a dismally light but gorgeously sunny forecast on the North Malastrand River, we can’t promise much excitement on day one of the double-points finale to the M32 Scandinavian Series in Stockholm.  But the spectators will be out in force as US-One goes for its clean sweep of the 2015 series, and we’ve got plenty of interesting features to share with you as we wait for the wind to fill in.  Check it out above, and go here for the preview story.

Turns out the M32 Cup is pretty damned fun to watch at least from what we saw yesterday in Sweden.  Sweet boats and ultra tight racing on America’s Cup courses – what more could you want?  Final day of racing is above.
