If the 34th America’s Cup ignited a passion in you for all things wing, then have we got a dream home for you! This one is in Malibu, CA (where else!) and it uses wings off a scrapped Boeing 747 as the main spine of the home. The plane parts cost around $50k, exceeded quite a bit by the cost to transport them via road-closing big trucks and helicopters. A gorgeous concept carried through to gorgeous completion by architect David Hertz. Full story here, with thanks to blunted for the find.
